We had a busy, awesome week of learning!
Dates and things to remember: Please send a jacket to school with your child. We go outside every day even for a few minutes and some days are very chilly. Library on Monday-please return books December 5-21-present holiday tradition report. We have had some wonderful traditions shared and awesome props like cookies, trees, ornaments, measuring cups, pictures and hats. Great job! Standards to learn next week: Math: explore and use measurement with centimeters and meters. Please continue to ask your child the time on an analog clock. Reading: know with fluency rhythm within poems and continue with informational text and main ideas. Writing: apply nonfiction in writing and research a topic and type it. Language: Phonics-unit 16 and identify and use possessive nouns and contractions in sentences. Social Studies: how we allocate Science/Health: knowing healthy things for us and aware of unhealthy. We had our second lesson with Mrs. Dean about coding. If your child has access to a computer the website is www.code.org No password is required. And it's fun! ILC lesson with Mrs. Bates: dictionary skills. Keep smiling and have a great week!
