Happy New Year!!! Happy 2017!
We had an awesome ….almost two days! Everyone was happy to be back and share their holiday break stories. Reminders: Report cards went home on Friday. Please keep the report card, sign the envelope and send it back on Monday. The class was introduced to a new reading opportunity called Reading Counts. They can find their own reading Lexile number, books they have read, and quizzes they took on those books to earn points. They took one today, so everyone has one point. They can only take these quizzes at school. But they can take as many as they want! Every morning before the bell, and during reading time, as well as any computer time our class has. They gave a goal to themselves for reading, math and Reading Counts. Goals are good.
